Catherine and Lambert Bariho
Lambert and Catherine are serving with Ellel Ministries in Rwanda. After meeting in Kenya on a mission trip, they were married in 2013 and began serving the people of Rwanda together in healing and discipleship. They believe that God has created every person for a purpose, but through various circumstances and challenges many people struggle to live life as God intended.
Lambert and Catherine’s desire is to partner with God in bringing healing and restoration to help His people fulfill His calling. They do this through welcoming people, teaching them about the Kingdom of God and bringing healing to those in need (Luke 9:11). This happens through courses and schools, healing retreats, and outreach to local churches and community events.
Since they began, they have had the joy to see God at work over and over again! Many people who have received ministry or teaching through Ellel Rwanda have shared that their lives have been changed and that they have found profound freedom in Christ! They are raising and training a team that will be helping them to minister healing and discipleship and training others from different churches to do the same.
Lambert was born and raised in Rwanda, and after coming to Christ in 1998, his passion has been to teach people the truth of the Word of God which sets people free. He served 5 years with a university student ministry before training with Ellel Ministries both in UK and South Africa for 2 and half years. Catherine was born and raised in USA and received Christ as a young child. Before training with Ellel Ministries, she completed a music degree at university and served for several years in music and intercession ministry, always with a heart to see people being restored to serve the Lord and fulfill their calling. In September 2017, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter Daviella Joy, which added more to their joy of serving the people of Rwanda through Healing and Discipleship.
