Chris & Vickie Nichols
Chris and Vickie Nichols “serve the world” by investing their lives in the diverse international community of people living in the Andean city of Quito, Ecuador. Chris works as an associate pastor for Connections and Discipleship with English Fellowship Church, focusing on growth and development of the church’s Small Group ministry and Membership process. Vickie focuses on the spiritual growth of students through teaching and coaching at The Alliance Academy International.
Together, they are prayerfully asking God to use their experiences in cross-cultural adoption, in teaching and coaching, and in leadership development to make disciples of Jesus in every culture, and to spread His glory in the nations through their lives.
Married in 1988, Chris and Vickie are the parents of nine adult children and have five grandchildren. In the midst of raising four biological children in Birmingham, Alabama, God spoke to their hearts by leading them toward multiple adoption journeys, ultimately bringing a total of five older children from orphanages in Kiev, Ukraine into their biological family.
