Vicky Abril
Victoria Abril (Vicky) was born in Churchill, Manitoba, to missionary-minded parents. When she was five years old, she asked Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Saviour and decided she wanted to be a full-time missionary.
After many short-term mission trips, she arrived in Vicente Guerro, Baja, California, and started volunteering at a rescue center for women and children. Then, realizing the tremendous need for the ladies to have an education, she started building a schoolhouse.
The Camp Canada in Mexico schoolhouse now has outer walls and a roof. Soon Camp Canada will open with tables, chairs, school supplies, etc.
Teachers have committed to courses in ESL, Bible, Music (guitar), cooking, parenting, sewing, various crafts, boy's breakfast club, and adult education classes. In addition, there are openings for sharing what God has put in your heart.
Please pray for Camp Canada as it reaches the lost and lonely in the neighborhood by offering all kinds of help and encouragement.
