Peter and Donna Pitman (Delp)

Donna was an Emergency Department nurse for 7 years before moving to Guatemala in 2017. Peter and his mother, Estella, had been running kids' club and youth group for years. Peter also helped to translate for medical teams and has a degree in photography.

In March 2018, Peter and Donna got married. Together, they run the ministry called Impacting One Life at a Time.

Since 2017, Peter, Donna, and Estella continued with kids' club and youth group, and started running medical clinics, providing complete care for each patient, including medications, treatments, bloodwork, ultrasounds, CT scans, and have helped numerous patients to get the lifesaving surgery that they needed.

During 2020, after the country was shut down, Peter and Donna teamed up with another ministry to provide medical care to different towns and villages all over Guatemala. Towards the end of that year, Peter and Donna felt God calling them to settle their ministry in a different area: Barra Lampara.

Barra Lampara is located in the canyon of the river called Rio Dulce. Peter and Donna provide medical care for 13 villages in this area along the river and deep in the jungle. They also have multiple paid staff members who help to run different programs and play a part in each day at clinic. The staff are in charge of the sports program, art club, and a girl's Bible study.

In 2022, Peter and Donna's ministry expanded into Colombia as well. The Colombian Directors, Jinnela and Jeu, run the ministry base there. They have various volunteers to help with the different programs and activities, such as worship night in the parks, clinics, feeding the elderly at a nursing home each month, singing and music lessons, dance classes, and multiple kids' events and activities.

Both locations host teams as well. You can find ministry updates on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and by email. All links can be found on their ministry website: www.impact1life.org
