David and Rebecca Pater
David has been serving a church plant in Toulouse, France, since early 2014. He was drawn to France long-term during a short-term trip there in 2009 as God began to burden him concerning the great need for gospel-centered churches in this country where only around 1% of the population are Evangelical Christians.
Upon arriving in Toulouse, David met Rebecca, a German missionary spending one year in France before completing her studies back in Germany. After their wedding in 2017, Rebecca moved back to Toulouse to serve alongside David in the church plant that God has been blessing tremendously. They had the privilege of welcoming their first child, Emma, in 2022. Their prayer is that God would continue to save many in France through the power of His gospel and for His eternal glory!
