Isaac Aduda

Born in an impoverished village in Kenya, Isaac is reaching out with the Gospel to the underprivileged and vulnerable members of the society in the Northwestern region of Kenya, and winning souls to Christ.

His passion for the plight of the poor, the cry of the weak, and the desperation of the marginalized members of society, whose hope can only be built on the foundation of the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the hallmark of his ministry (Mission of Hope Africa).

Isaac’s ministry focuses on four key initiatives:

Evangelism: With a team of evangelists and volunteers, Isaac’s ministry responds to the Great Commission by moving from village to village, and door to door sharing the Good News and winning souls to Christ. As a result, lives are being touched, hearts are being transformed, believers are getting baptized, churches are being planted and Christ continues to be made known.

Education: Isaac’s ministry provides scholarships to underprivileged children and orphans with academic aptitude to pursue their education.

Medical: Isaac’s ministry provides medical care (Soles for Souls) to impoverished communities in Kenya who are affected by the Jigger parasite as a result of walking barefoot. If left untreated, the infestation by the Jigger could lead to amputation. While providing physical treatment to their feet (soles), the Gospel is preached, and the victims receive spiritual healing (souls) hence, (Soles for Souls). Audio bibles in their native languages of Swahili and Turkana are also provided to those who cannot read.

Basic needs: Due to abject poverty, the communities that Isaac serves lack the necessities of life. Mission of Hope Africa shares the love of Christ by providing Emergency food relief and access to safe and clean drinking water. Feminine hygiene products (pads) are also provided to schoolgirls hence, enabling the girl child not to skip school.

The theme of God’s transcendence and God’s incarnation into the poor penetrates deep into the whole scripture. According to the scriptures, God is self-existent and transcended, and the transcended God is revealed through the poor (Beatitudes), the people of Israel in slavery, and Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Good News to the poor, the broken-hearted, the captive, the blind, and the bruised. As God’s image bearers who live in the power of the Holy Spirit, we ought to be responsible for each other's welfare so that none may suffer from any lack of life’s necessities hence, making God’s heavenly kingdom real to the world we live in.

Isaac is originally from Kenya. He is a father of two girls and twin boys. He holds a Master of Arts in Bible and Theology, from Calvin Theological Seminary.
